First things first...

I can't tell you the magical moment I realized I was in love or should I say infatuated with anything pertaining to skin care or make up, what I can tell you is one of my fondest memories growing up was always looking through and playing with my moms make-up.  I vividly remember looking over every jar of cream, each tube of lipstick, and all of her eyeshadows.  Not only did I get to rummage through these treasure chests called cosmetic bags, but I was also given the opportunity to apply all of these transformation tools to my mom.

Friday and Saturday nights were the highlight of my week growing up.  My mom and I would play "make-up".  I would carefully apply her serums and facial creams to her face in preparation for her makeover.  After the prep work the fun really began.  Using the colors my mom already had I would give her an absolutely new look.  And I'm sure you are thinking what a wonderful mother to subject herself to bright red rosy cheeks and and caked on purple eyeshadow.  This is not the case.  As Monet, Picasso, Cassatt, and Rembrandt all picked up their paint brushes and just let things happen naturally I did the same with a set up make up brushes and so began my love of make-up and anything related.
