My worst enemy

I don't hide the fact that I suffer from acne.  I have had it for most of my life.  Most of the time it's under control due to a strict skin care regime.  However due to hormones,  a late night of being too lazy to wash my face, or because it's a full moon and high tide a pimple pops up out of no where and what's worse is it brings friends...lots of them.  They mainly congregate around my mouth (this is generally due to hormones) and forehead.  The forehead ones are quite painful and typically the size of a large barn cat so trying to cover them up can be a messy chore.  Awhile back I learned a quick way to take care of the redness so I wouldn't have to use an industrial sized tube of concealer and the best part it's cheap and many of us have this little wonder already in our medicine cabinet lurking in the back.  It's a bottle of eye drops (make sure it indicates that it removes redness).

It works by constricted the blood vessels around the inflamed area so the redness is not as apparent.  It may not be a cure all, but in my time of need it works just great.  I typically will take a cotton ball soak it with the eye drops and pop that in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes.  I then take the cotton ball and place it wear needed and hold in there for a minute or two and presto changeo the redress has subsided.  Please be on the look out for more tech tips and and ways to make make-up application a lot easier and quicker.
